Program Goals

Leadership Training: A thoughtful approach to problem-solving and practical leadership skills in a diverse world.

Fitness Education: a lifelong habit of regular exercise and a commitment to a drug-free lifestyle.

Character Building:  a personal code of honor and the moral reasoning skills to make tough decisions.

Teambuilding: working together effectively as a team, primarily through activities and games designed to increase motivation and promote cooperation.

Self-discipline: the ability to control yourself and to make yourself work harder or behave in a particular way without needing anyone else to tell you what to do. Self-discipline to do school work & and chores without having to be reminded over and over. To make better life choices and consider the consequences before acting. 

Responsibility: Young Marines take on ever-increasing roles of responsibility when earning rank and taking on new billets. With appropriate and consistent discipline and time management skills, your child will learn about consequences and take responsibility for their own actions and the actions of their team. 

Scholarships:  We offer multiple scholarship opportunities throughout the year.

Rose City Young Marines

Rose City Young Marines is the first Young Marines unit to come to East Texas. The unit chartered in January 2022 with two established Young Marines leading the way. Graduating our first group of recruits in May 2022 the unit quickly grew to over 20 Young Marines.

The Rose City Young Marines stands out as a unit that strives for strength through perseverance by always challenging its members to strive for more, go farther, &  never give up.
